The RATP (PARIS PUBLIC TRANSPORT SYSTEM) offers many formulas tailored to visitors. You can buy tickets in the subway and the RER (REGIONAL EXPRESS NETWORK) and in tobacco shops. Tickets are also available on buses but are more expensive.
Among the options proposed:
Carte Paris-visite with choice of area and duration (1-5 consecutive days)
Mobilis, a package (unlimited trips) valid for the day (generally good for a minimum of 5 trips).
